Single Edsby application is modernizing district assessment, parent communication and data-driven decision making
ONTARIO, Canada (September 19, 2018) – Edsby®, the most comprehensive learning and analytics platform available for K-12, is now in wide deployment at the Near North District School Board (NNDSB), a school district of 10,000 students in mid-Northern Ontario.
In choosing Edsby, NNDSB initially sought more powerful assessment tools and better parent communication capabilities in a modern, flexible platform tightly aligned with Ontario Ministry of Education expectations and guidelines.
The district has also deployed several advanced Edsby capabilities, such as extensive data analytics services that enable educators and administrators to find students at risk, track and improve pass rates, measure how students are performing to learning standards over time, inform teacher practice and more. NNDSB will also be offering parents the ability to register their children for school through Edsby, whether entering kindergarten or high school.
