Edsby insulated from CrowdStrike outage

Cyber outage - CrowdStrike

Edsby systems worldwide are unaffected by systems taken down today by a faulty update from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.

The widespread outage has disrupted flights, banks, media companies, emergency services and others around the world. Disruptions occurred when cloud security provider CrowdStrike applied an upgrade overnight which began crashing Microsoft systems. The provider’s fix is still making its way to affected systems.

Some are calling today’s problems the largest IT outage in history.

Edsby is hosted on Microsoft’s Azure network worldwide, but no Edsby services have been affected. Edsby’s services are protected by other means than CrowdStrike.
