Why one school district chose Edsby

In an Edsby webinar with Microsoft, Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board shared how and why it has moved its 34,000 students to the Edsby learning management system.

In a session titled Getting Info Out of the SIS And Into The Hands of Students, Teachers and Parents, Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board described how its LMS allows it to share data safely. The district had interest in sharing information from its legacy systems wider among all the stakeholders in a child’s education—but found that safely managing who gets access to what wasn’t easy, especially when parents are involved.

Kawartha Pine Ridge CIO Ron Plaizier and Manager of Network Services Dan Fitzgerald described the process and end result of selecting Edsby as its district-wide solution.
