Edsby ST4S Badge 2023

Security and privacy assessment renewed after annual check

Edsby’s learning management system for schools has passed an annual readiness check review by the Australian government’s Safer Technologies 4 Schools (ST4S) program, and has been authorized to display the organization’s official ST4S product badge for another year.

This recognition affirms Edsby’s commitment to privacy, security, and safe technology use in K-12 education.

Edsby was originally assessed in 2024 by the ST4S program, which provides a consistent framework for evaluating education software for schools, helping regional leaders identify trusted school management systems and digital learning platforms that meet baseline standards for data protection and responsible use. Edsby’s assessment reflects the same principles that guide our work globally: protecting student information while supporting effective teaching and learning.

As a comprehensive school management software and online platform for teaching, Edsby supports formative and summative assessment, competency-based assessment, and clear communication through its student and parent portals. Schools rely on Edsby to support personalized learning, transparent progress reporting, and strong parent engagement — and the ST4S badge provides added confidence that these capabilities are delivered securely.

We’re honoured to be recognized through the Safer Technologies 4 Schools program and to display the ST4S badge as a clear signal of trust for educators, administrators, students, and families.
